Five-year-old boy performing a heartfelt Ardas, praying for the 3D animation to be released soon
A Five-Year-Old’s Prayer
While adults are traditionally positioned as teachers of children, the reverse can also be true. The team behind Motherhood: The Journey of Mata Sahib Kaur have shared a video that proves we can be inspired and motivated by children. It depicts a five-year-old boy performing a heartfelt Ardas, praying for the 3D animation to be released soon. Anyone who watches will be truly touched by the sweet-sounding prayer and deeply impressed by the flawless Gurmukhi from one so young.
The youngster selflessly performs the Ardas on behalf of children all over the world and this is truly fitting when you consider the subject matter of the animation. Mata Sahib Kaur Ji is the spiritual mother of Sikhs and the Mother of the Khalsa and in this video, her young son humbly prays for the movie that will depict her life story. He is the embodiment of children around the globe who are filled with excitement and anticipation.
Life has ground to a halt during the pandemic but work on Motherhood: The Journey of Mata Sahib Kaur will resume with fervour when it is declared safe to do so. In fact, the project is in the latter stages of production, meaning that this unique and trailblazing movie could be released soon. Worldwide, children will be touched by the awe-inspiring story of their Mother, while learning about their history in an engaging and compelling way. The young boy in the video symbolises the longing that many of us feel; we simply cannot wait for the animation to hit the big screen.
In the video, our ears are also treated to the heavenly shabad ‘Poota Mata Ki Asees’, which expresses a mother’s hope for her child. The shabad featured in the video (sung by Seerat) is also the official supporting track of Motherhood: The Journey of Mata Sahib Kaur Ji. An apt choice for an animation centred on our spiritual mother.
To conclude, may we all be motivated by this devout child and join him as he prays for the release of such an important and much-needed movie.
